R. Howard Courtney's site includes articles and images of some of the more interesting Dubai stamps and postal stationery as well as images and articles of his many other philatelic (and musical) interests. His articles and catalogue about Dubai are worth reading. My thanks for all his help. An important resource for the Emirates postal history. A bit of news - R. Howard Courtney's The Arab World Philatelist is online as a set of images!
British Commonwealth Postmarks is a set of pages by Robert Cragg. Includes postmarks of Aden and the Gulf States. May be useful.
The Emirates Philatelic Association web site features include links to a buying and to a selling page for the stamps of the United Arab Emirates as well as a link to a discussion page. You do not need to be a member of the association to use these and some of the other features on the site.
Joachim Duester has written an article entitled The Dhufar issues of the "Oman Imamate State". This is surely the first article of any importance about the background of the Dhufar issues since Merv Chaplin's account in the second issue of the Journal of Arabian Philately. Both articles are worth reading. You may also wish to check Joachim Duester's Oman site for further research about Oman.
