Stamp Program - Mail & Email Bid Sale
Mail and eMail Bid Sale #27 is scheduled to close on Friday, 4 June
to Mailbid 27 which, as you can see from the illustrations above,
contains a selection of older covers in addition to the bulk and modern
cover lots we always have. This time there are new sections of Ontario
and USA postal history. While most of the donations we get are stamps
and they generally attract more interest and more revenue than covers,
we are committed to finding a good home for specialized but lower
priced postal history material when we receive it, so we hope it will
be of interest to some.
But as usual this auction also contains
a lot of stamps! In particular, there are more country lots in the
Collections and Bulk section and the World Stamps section. Perfins are
featured in several places, including some on cover. And there is a
wide selection of Topicals towards the end of the catalogue.
hope everyone is keeping safe, and that you have some spare time to
pursue your hobbies. Once again we are locked down and as volunteers we
are running this auction almost entirely from our homes. This may cause
some delays in processing the results of the auction, so please bear
with us! Fortunately we still have access to mail delivered to the
Oxfam office. But we will not be able to hold a viewing day for this
auction, so if you want to see a lot not already illustrated on our
Facebook page, please let us know and we will make an effort to scan it.
If you would like to receive a paper copy of the catalogue or scans of
lots, please let us know at email@example.com. You
can see scans and follow us at https://www.facebook.com/oxfamstamps/
and at www.ohmygosh.on.ca
