British Commonwealth Postmarks is a set of pages by Robert Cragg. Includes postmarks of Aden and the Gulf States. May be useful.
The Emirates Philatelic Association web site features include links to a buying and to a selling page for the stamps of the United Arab Emirates as well as a link to a discussion page. You do not need to be a member of the association to use these and the other features on the site.
Joachim Duester has written an article entitled The Dhufar issues of the "Oman Imamate State". This is surely the first article of any importance about the background of the Dhufar issues since Merv Chaplin's account in the second issue of the Journal of Arabian Philately. Both articles are worth reading. You may also wish to check Joachim Duester's Oman site for further research about Oman.
The Ottoman and Near East Philatelic Society is a dealing with the stamps and postal history of the area. Worth checking for their articles, some of which are online.
The Oriental Philatelic Association of London has a new website. The site includes a index to the society's journal, OPAL Journal, and their yearly auction. The OPAL Journal is published three times a year. Articles concerning Aden, Yemen and the Gulf States can be found in the index.
