The Quaiti Kennedy and Churchill Overprinted Aerogrammes

The front panels of the three aerogrammes appear to have the same measurements. There are a few differences, however, between the stamps used for the Kennedy and the Churchill overprints. There are also a few differences between the overprints.

The differences between the aerogrammes used for the Kennedy and the Churchill overprints include a break in the frame about halfway up in the stamps of the original and of the Kennedy overprinted aerogrammes. The stamp on the Churchill overprinted aerogramme does not have this break in its frame. Another difference is the sharpness of the stamps on the original and the Kennedy overprinted aerogrammes compared to the stamp on the Churchill overprinted aerogramme.

There are also a few differences between the overprints. The size of the Kennedy lettering is smaller than the Churchill lettering. The font used for the years differs. The spacing between the Arabic "South Arabia" and the date is slightly greater on the Kennedy aerogramme than on the Churchill aerogramme. The numbering and denomination also vary in colour, but this be due to the scanning.
