Kathiri State of Seiyun, South Arabia
Stamps: 1967 and 1968

These issues were released apparently after the National Liberation Front took control of the state 1 October 1967. The Federation of South Arabia issues and the Kathiri State issues were declared invalid on 1 November 1969 by the postal authorities of the People's Republic of Southern Yemen. It is possible that some of the lower valued stamps were used postally.

The 65 fils on 1 shilling 25 cents World Peace issue from 1967 with added overprint of SER 1966 as the new first line and LYNDON JOHNSON between the WORLD PEACE and LUDWIG ERHARD lines. I am not certain when this stamp was released.
