to our first auction
of 2016. We are pleased that there is still strong interest in
collecting current Canadian stamps, even though new material is in
short supply. And although we have lost some of our major large stamp

This auction contains the usual variety of new and old
material including both individual and bulk lots of Canadian and
worldwide stamps, covers, albums, small collections and miscellaneous.
It is difficult for us to describe these accurately in the short space
available in the catalogue, and the lack of detail may present a
challenge for mail bidders. So, if we can help you decide what to bid
on by providing scans or additional information, please let us know and
we will do our best. For those in the Ottawa area or visiting, we will
also be holding a viewing day at the Oxfam National Office on Wednesday
11 May from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This auction also includes many
coin lots, Canada first day covers with special cachets, and many
postcard lots (eg realphotos, mint, used, some “Dear Doctor”
cards). We hope you find something of interest.
scans are on the web at http://www.ohmygosh.on.ca/.
If we miss scanning the image of a lot in which you are particularly
interested, please let us know and we will send it to you or upload it
to the website.
