| Mail & eMail Bid Sale #10 closed on 26 June 2009. |
Mail & eMail Bid Sale #11 is scheduled for 11 June 2010. |
Welcome to our tenth annual mail and email auction of worldwide bulk lots, covers, stamps and cancellations. This year, it's time for a major house cleaning! The Oxfam Office has just moved (see our new address on the last page) and in the process we made the decision to get rid of a lot of material we have been storing, some since Oxfam's stamp programme began in the early 1980s. So this sale features an especially large section of bulk country lots, cover lots, postcards and other miscellaneous material, even some coins and currency.
As usual, we also offer a wide variety of recent modern world covers to (and from) Canada, some of which may be hard to find commercially used, for example from the East Block countries, the Middle East, Mongolia and Turkmenistan. As parts of larger lots like #93 there are commercial covers from Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, China & Taiwan, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, Italy, Iran, Jordan, Hong Kong, Luxemburg, Rwanda, Singapore, Slovak Republic, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, Zambia, & 17 other countries, some registered. These may be of interest for the colourful stamps as well as for the covers themselves.
We have made an arrangement
with Ottawa Stamp Auctions to include our material in their regular monthly
auctions, and we will be letting you know about these in future, in case you
would like to keep active between our annual sales. Thanks for your support,
and we hope you find something here that meets your needs. As usual, we are
putting more illustrations on the web site at www.ohmygosh.on.ca.
If anyone wants scans of lots that are not illustrated, please let our volunteer
Andrew know at www.ohmygosh.on.ca.
