Provisionals
The 1966 Definitive series was overprinted with the new currency. Please note that this date is in question. I have seen covers postmarked from December 1966.
Four different types of overprints were used (overprints in black)

1. Small "Dh." and Arabic equivalent and one line each over "naye paise" and Arabic equivalent
2. Larger "Dh." and Arabic equivalent and one line each over "naye paise" and Arabic equivalent
3. "DIRHAMS", RIYAL", or "RIYALS" and Arabic equivalent and one line over the old currency name
4. No English, but Arabic equivalent of "Riyals" only and one line over the old currency name

• 10 dh. on 10 n.p. - Palace - overprint type 1
